Rotaract Club of Karsiyaka held a recycling workshop for children at its Sister School "Sehit Yuzbasi Ali Riza Sadak Middle School" located in Izmir, Turkey in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Guzelbahce. We aim to raise awareness of children about basic recycling. Before the workshop, we made a brief presentation to encourage the children to easily recycle basic domestic wastes such as plastic bottles, toilet paper rolls etc. We showed them how they can make toys or decorative other stuffs by recycling these waste instead of junking. Following the presentation, we made pencil cases by shaping and coloring the plastic bottles together with 20 children.
